We’ve had the pleasure of working with Hennessy for the last few years, helping to reposition the classic cognac here in Ireland and bring it to a new younger, more culturally curious audience.

Hennessy is a brand synonymous with hip hop, with some of the biggest artists namechecking it in their lyrics, from Tupac and Biggie in the 90s, to Drake and Kendrick Lamar in more recent years. And last weekend saw Hennessy secure its reputation amongst the Irish hip hop scene as tastemakers and champions of Irish music and culture by bringing the Hennessy Hip Hop House to Body & Soul festival, serving up the best in cultural expression and creative cocktails.

With a stellar line-up of Irish hip hop talent, it was the place to be all weekend, sipping on a Sidecar & Soul or Ess-press Yourself. Highlights included hotly tipped rapper, Aby Coulibaly, who brought her laid back brand of hip hop; JYellowL thrilled with a whirlwind set which showcased his eclectic style; Choice Music Prize nominated rapper Jafaris burst on to the stage for a high octane set of new and old material; and Mango X Mathman brought their tales of inner city blues and scallywags set against Mathman's 90s electro inspired beats.
